Twenty five years of association with this Institution can not be summed up in a corner of Craven's Corner. As most people now recognize the Administration of the University is a "hemlock dispensary" seeking out professors of skill and integrity and administering the hemlock. It is also a University with the finest of students from Hawaii and the Pacific and the world who are able to extract an education from the "Socrates" of the University during their tenure no matter how brief. It is also the home of "The Children of the Ocean Seas" There are also corners of healing and education such as the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology where Dorothy Craven has supervised the education and conduct of clinical practice dispensing the precious gift of intelligible speech and comprehending hearing.
