Roses in general do not like salt, however, they seem to grow quite succesfully in our garden. They also do not like standing water. The roses in our garden are grown along the chillhouse walls and so grow in only partial sunlight. The plants are small, but the flowers are relatively large compared to the size of the plant. This is probably due to the amount of sun and the cold pipes forcing the nutrients directly into the flower, but this theory hasn't fully been researched yet because our roses are only nine months old.
