Italian fennel is a licorice-flavored herb. It is used in lasagnas and pasta sauces, and it also produces a numbing effect on the teeth and gums. Its sweet anise flavor is also excellent for babies who are teething. In our garden, it produces a beautiful, large white bulb which is due to the unique process of ColdAg. It is believed that in the near future, this process will not be considered unique.
