The Board of Directors of the Common Heritage Corporation
(CHC) invite you to the first anniversary of the "The Birth of the Blue-Green
Revolution" on January 30, 1999. This event will be held at the CHC Deep
Ocean Water Demonstration Facility at the Natural Energy Laboratory of
Hawaii Authority (NELHA) on the Island of Hawaii 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The term "Blue-Green Revolution" was coined by the late
Senator Richard Matsuura when he realized that CHC had achieved a world
class breakthrough in agriculture using deep ocean water. CHC will continue
to honor his vision in the naming of our annual Open House, and in so doing,
reaffirm our commitment to extend the benefits of the "Blue-Green Revolution"
to mankind.
We will also have a Seminar featuring the application
of Deep Ocean Water Systems (the Blue-Green Renaissance). This Seminar
will be held at the University of Hawaii at the Marine Science Building
Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. , January 28 and on the Island of Hawaii at NELHA
at 7:00 p.m. on January 29. If you are interested in attending the seminar
at one of these sites please contact us at one of the numbers or email
sites below and we will see that you get a seminar program.
Deep ocean water is cold, nutrient rich and free of surface
pathogens. It also represents the world's largest unused resource. Visitors
to the CHC facility on January 30 will see an integrated system demonstrating
the remarkable properties of and economies for using deep ocean water.
This system includes use of deep ocean water for fresh water production,
air conditioning, the chilling of fruit, vegetables, fish and sea vegetables,
for cold water agriculture (temperate and tropical fruits, vegetables and
herbs) and using residual cold and nutrients of the deep ocean water for
cold water sea vegetable and fish production.
CHC undertakes the management of innovation for the benefit
of humanity and emphasizes economic, environmental, and emphasizes economic,
environmental, and cultural sustainability and self sufficiency. Our demonstration
projects focus on developing country type applications. We also see important
and profitable application of deep ocean water technologies in the developed
countries. The many enterprises currently operating at NELHA represent
such applications.
We hope you can join with us to celebrate these unique
Hawaii innovations ,
