THE BLUE-GREEN REVOLUTION

FIRST DEDICATION AT KEAHOLE POINT, BIG ISLAND OF HAWAII, "BIRTHPLACE OF THE BLUE-GREEN REVOLUTION"

JANUARY 31, 1998

THE BLUE-GREEN REVOLUTION

The Blue-Green Revolution is underway!

BLUE FOR THE OCEAN  --  GREEN FOR AGRICULTURE

The term "Blue-Green Revolution" was coined by the late Hawaii Senator, Senator Richard Matsuura, when he realized that Common Heritage Corporation had achieved a world class breakthrough in agriculture using deep ocean water. This breakthrough is revolutionizing agriculture in Coastal areas.

In Coastal areas with access to DOW, with a DOW System you can:

DOW agriculture is revolutionizing Coastal agriculture in these and many other exciting and novel ways.

BLUE-GREEN REVOLUTION AND DEEP OCEAN WATER SYSTEMS

Nearly 20 years of developmental work at the facilities of the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii have identified DEEP OCEAN WATER as the largest untapped resource in the quest for global and local Environmentally Sustainable Development!

DEEP OCEAN WATER (DOW) is available to coastal communities throughout the world and will support:

The benefits above, including DOW Agriculture, are very important to Coastal communities, but these are not the only benefits avilable from the implementation of a DOW System development program.

The benefits obtained by developing a DOW System fall into the categories of: technical/natural resource, economic, community, and habitat benefits. The technical/natural resource benefits of a DOW System are the easiest to take a look at because many of the questions to be asked are scientific in nature and technical answers can be found. Economic benefits can be examined on a project by project basis at this time. DOW Systems also give the opportunity for local communities to work together on important common goals while providing for local employment and business opportunities.

DOW Systems can provide Coastal areas with important natural resources and space cooling. Local business and employment opportunities can also be created while communities are brought together for common goals. All of the benefits of DOW Systems will attract people out of dense coastal cities to the dry desolate Coast. The net effect will be to bring people and resources "back to the farm" where they are needed most.

When people come back to the farm they will find that they live in a new habitat: one where they can keep cool, have plenty of DOW desalinated water, grow their own fish and food, find employment, socialize, and sprawl on year round green waterless turf.

Others will exploit the DOW for its Cold and Purity in different ways. Larger enterprises can also gain significant cost savings through DOW Cooling and other DOW uses. Cool, DOW habitats will also help here, as local and visiting executives lounge on a DOW watered golf course and other DOW System human habiat features.

The further tecnical, resource, economic, social, and habitat uses of DOW systems help to bring the BLUE-GREEN REVOLUTION (BGR) into clearer focus. The BGR is about a revolution in agriculture, but it is also about so much more: environmentally sustainable and economically thriving Coastal community habitats where there is now but dust and sorrow. It is with this vision that Blue-Green Revolutionaries go out to let others know about this wonderful ocean resourc and to find human and financial resources to fund the initial infrastructure for the first DOW System environmentally sustainable Coastal community.
