First Anniversary of "The Birth
of the Blue-Green Revolution"
300 Kahelu Avenue, Suite 35
Mililani, Hawaii 96789
Dear Friends,
Thank you for your kind invitation to join you for the first anniversary of "The Birth of the Blue-Green Revolution." I regret that due to my legislative responsibilities in Washington, I am unable to be with you today. Please know, however, that my thoughts are with you on this special occasion.
I commend CHC for its innovative use of the world's largest unused resource to achieve major breakthroughs in the economically and environmentally sustainable development of aquaculture, agriculture, desalination, air conditioning and industrial cooling. Your diligent efforts have produced an oasis in the middle of the Kona coastal desert to showcase tremendous opportunities for communities with access to deep ocean water.
I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate Dr. John Craven and Dr. Jack Davidson on their recent inclusion in Famer's Digest's list of 1998s 25 most influential people for "setting standards and carving a future for agriculture in the 21st century."
With CHC's outstanding leadership and distinguished Board of Directors,
I have no doubt CHC will continue to celebrate its successful management
of innovation for the benefit of humanity in the new millennium.
Aloha,
Daniel K. Inouye
United States Senator
