GREENVILLE EHIME MARU COLLISION
Unanswered Questions
Should the Ehime Maru have seen
the Greenville?
If so should she have seen the point at which
she dove?
If so, would not a prudent skipper taken the Ehime
Maru to that point as the safest place to be.?
If the skipper of the
Greeneville knew there were ships in the area but did not see any would
he not believe that the safest thing for a prudent skipper to do is to
surface at the place where he submerged?
If so,would not
both prudent skippers collide?
Is there any other scenario that has
the slightest probability of occurence?
Is such an inquiry politically
feasible?
