Should the Ehime Maru have seen the Greenville?
If so should she have seen the point at which she dove?
If so, would not a prudent skipper taken the Ehime Maru to that point as the safest place to be.?
If the skipper of the Greeneville knew there were ships in the area but did not see any would he not believe that the safest thing for a prudent skipper to do is to surface at the place where he submerged?
If so,would not both prudent skippers collide?
Is there any other scenario that has the slightest probability of occurence?
Is such an inquiry politically feasible?
